Standard 2D Number Plates
Our standard 2D number plates are the traditional flat-style registration plates used on vehicles throughout the UK. They feature black printed characters on a white reflective front plate and a yellow reflective rear plate, giving your vehicle the familiar factory-style appearance.
If your existing plates are damaged, cracked, faded or simply need replacing, our standard 2D plates provide a clean and straightforward replacement.
Replacement 2D Number Plates
PL8 Factory manufactures replacement 2D number plates for cars and other vehicles. Simply enter your registration and select the plates you require when ordering.
Unlike 3D gel or 4D number plates, standard 2D plates use flat characters that sit flush with the surface of the plate. This makes them ideal for customers who want the traditional appearance rather than raised lettering.
You can order:
- Front number plates
- Rear number plates
- Front and rear pairs
- Replacement plates for damaged or worn existing plates
Road-Legal 2D Number Plates
Road-legal UK number plates must meet the applicable requirements for their construction, appearance and markings.
This includes the correct reflective background, correctly displayed registration characters and the required supplier and British Standard markings. Road-legal plates must not use background patterns that interfere with the registration.
Where documentation is required, you’ll need to provide suitable proof of identity and evidence showing your entitlement to use the registration number.
