Are Hex Number Plates Road Legal?
For a Hex number plate to be used as a vehicle registration plate on public roads, the finished plate and selected configuration must meet the applicable UK requirements.
This includes requirements concerning matters such as reflective materials, registration characters and spacing, margins and the required supplier/manufacturer markings.
Where required, you’ll also need to provide suitable documentation confirming your identity and entitlement to use the registration number.
If you select a decorative or non-compliant configuration intended for display, it should not be used as a road registration plate.
