Your trailer registration plate must usually be displayed vertically at the rear of the trailer, in addition to the towing vehicle’s registration plate. If it cannot be fitted at the rear, plates must be displayed clearly on both sides of the trailer.

### Documents Required
Before we can manufacture your plate, you will need to provide your trailer number plate authorisation certificate (eV948/2) or trailer registration certificate, together with an accepted original document confirming your identity and address.
Please check the rules for every country you intend to visit or travel through. A separate UK sticker may also be required and must not be placed on the trailer registration plate.
