Magnetic Number Plate Holder Set — Front & Rear

Fit both your front and rear number plates without ever putting a drill near your
bodywork. This magnetic number plate holder set combines our Front and Rear kits
into one order — at £60, a genuine £10 saving over buying the two separately at £35
each.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX

The set includes 8 plastic brackets in total: 4 for the front plate and 4 for the
rear. For the front, you also get 8 magnets designed to sit behind your front
bumper — since most front bumpers are plastic, that magnet layer is what the plate
brackets attract to. For the rear, no separate magnet set is needed: those 4
brackets have magnets built directly into them, designed to stick straight onto a
metal boot lid or crash bar.

Every bracket, front and rear, is lined with a strong adhesive tape on the
plate-facing side and a 1.0mm neoprene foam layer on the vehicle-facing side, so
there’s no direct contact between magnet and paintwork anywhere on the car. The
foam wipes clean easily with warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth.

HOW FITTING WORKS — FRONT

For the vast majority of vehicles, fitting the front half of this set means
removing the front bumper first, so the magnet layer can sit correctly against the
metal behind the plastic outer shell. It’s not a stick-and-go job on the front —
full instructions are included, and if you’d rather not tackle it yourself, most
local garages can fit it in a short session.

HOW FITTING WORKS — REAR

The rear half is simpler: on most cars, the boot lid or crash bar underneath is
metal, and the brackets stick directly onto it with no removal needed at all. A
quick way to check before you order is to hold a fridge magnet against your boot
lid where the plate sits — if it grips, the rear half of this set will hold the
same way. If your boot lid is a non-metal or composite material, the rear brackets
alone won’t have anything to grip, and you’d need a second front-style kit for that
plate instead — get in touch before ordering if you’re not sure.

DAY-TO-DAY USE

Once both ends are fitted, using either plate is exactly as simple as it should be:
press the plate onto the brackets to attach it, pull it away by hand whenever you
want it off — for cleaning, detailing, a show day, or just washing the car properly.

WHY CHOOSE MAGNETIC OVER DRILLED OR ADHESIVE FITTING

Drilled or screwed plates are permanent on both ends of the car — once those holes
exist, front and back, they’re staying, whatever you decide later. Plain adhesive
pads avoid drilling but create their own problem: removing them cleanly, without
residue or paint damage, is a genuine hassle on two separate panels. A magnetic set
solves both, keeping every plate properly removable for as long as you own the car.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Clean all the neoprene foam pads — front and rear — with warm soapy water and a
soft microfibre cloth, avoiding anything abrasive. Check periodically for grit or
road debris caught between any bracket and the bodywork, since a clean contact
surface is what keeps every magnetic hold strong over time.
